This time last year I blogged about living 2012 with no goals. “Living with no goals allows you to try new things and open up to new ideas and suggestions. You have no restrictions on yourself, no set time to accomplish something, no pressures or stresses. You have the opportunity to become more productive and creative as you are not following a specific set of rules or guidelines.”

With no goals in mind, I continued my love of travel – visiting the Greek islands of Crete & Santorini in April, flew to Thailand in Asia in September and relaxed in the Algarve in Portugal at the end of this month. I studied throughout the whole year for my Health Science degree and 2012 saw nearly 30 thousand visitors read thebettylife. I have no idea what exciting new opportunities 2013 will bring, or which parts of the world I will see, but whatever, I am looking forward to the surprise…

  2. Betty,

Visited your blog and am grateful for the work you do in sharing your thoughts and tips and all. I especially appreciate your factual description of visiting Thailand. Many of us need to be forewarned of what travel may have in store for us. My religious perspective may differ from yours, but you seem to be on the right path. And hope you keep it up!

    • Thank you so much for your lovely comment Lu. I am glad that you found my updates from Thailand useful, I had much fun writing about my experience (apart from the illness of course! :P ) Thank you for stopping by and giving me such kind encouraging feedback. I am very much looking forward to sharing more of my travels through blogging in the year ahead… :D
      All the best,
      Betty x
